Sydney FC coach Ante Juric says he has no hesitation in evaluating 17-year-old recruit Amelia Cassar to Matildas stars Kyra Cooney-Cross and Caitlin Foord.
Cassar impressed Juric throughout the Sky Blues’ preseason preparations after becoming a member of the membership from cross-town rival, Western Sydney Wanderers.
Though Cassar made 4 appearances for the Wanderers final season, she is but to play a full A-League Ladies (ALW) match.
“I attempted to get her final 12 months when she went to the Wanderers,” Juric mentioned.
“She did not play any minutes there, so I went and tried to get her once more.
“She’s a famous person within the likes of [Kyra] Cooney-Cross and [Caitlin] Foord.
