(ENCS) — The seventh China-France Cultural Discussion board was held in Changsha, Hunan Province from Sunday to Tuesday, with the theme “Pluralistic coexistence and harmonious progress—forging a brand new sample for China-France cultural exchanges.”
Ding Zhongli, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the Nationwide Folks’s Congress, and president of the Western Returned Students Affiliation, addressed the opening ceremony on Monday.

He emphasised that pluralistic coexistence types the inspiration for the continuity of civilizations and serves as a supply of creativity and innovation. “The vitality of civilization lies in concord by means of range,” he stated.
Jean-Pierre Raffarin, former Prime Minister of France and president of the Potential and Innovation Basis (Basis Potential et Innovation), said that the range of civilizations is the place to begin for exchanges and the important thing to innovation. Based mostly on these shared values, Raffarin emphasised the significance of enhancing mutual understanding and cultural trade between one another, he stated. He hopes that extra French individuals, particularly the youth, would go to China to see what the nation is realy like and to deepen exchanges and cooperation with their Chinese language counterparts in tradition, training, and expertise, collectively contributing knowledge and energy to safeguarding world peace and selling human improvement.
Roughly 200 contributors, together with representatives from the cultural, creative, academic, and enterprise sectors of China and France, attended the opening ceremony.
Launched in 2016, the China-France Cultural Discussion board is a vital platform for people-to-people diplomacy collectively initiated by the Western Returned Students Affiliation and the Fondation Potential et Innovation. Earlier periods have been held in Beijing (China), Lyon (France), Xi’an (China), Good (France), Suzhou (China), and Deauville (France), overlaying a variety of areas for people-to-people exchanges between the 2 nations.
