Emergency providers have been known as to Batemans Bay Marina about 8pm final evening after reviews a fisherman had did not return from a fishing journey.
The 56-year-old man had left the marina about 6am in an 8-metre Arvor cruiser and was final heard from about 10am.
Police have been alerted about 7.20pm when he did not return dwelling.
Marine Space Command, together with police, Marine Rescue NSW and the Australian Maritime Security Authority (ASMA) instantly launched a search.
The search concerned boats, plane and helicopter, nevertheless neither the lacking man or his boat was discovered.
Authorities will resume a search at present assisted by Surf Life Saving NSW.
