RCMP say a person has been charged with assaulting two law enforcement officials in a southwestern Saskatchewan village the place so-called followers of the “Queen of Canada” have arrange a compound.

Mounties say 61-year-old Ricky Manz has additionally been charged with assault, resisting arrest and uttering threats in Richmound, about 360 kilometres west of Regina, close to the Alberta boundary.

Manz is the proprietor of the previous village college, which has housed Romana Didulo’s “Kingdom of Canada” group for almost two years.

He’s scheduled to make a courtroom look Sept. 18.

Didulo calls herself the “Queen of Canada,” selling numerous conspiracy theories, and her followers have disrupted native residents.

Earlier this month, the village workplace closed its doorways to the general public outdoors pre-arranged appointments, citing harassment and intimidation towards employees.
