On a month-to-month foundation, retail gross sales elevated 0.6% from Could to June (seasonally adjusted), and gross sales have been up 3.9 % from June 2024.
From the Census Bureau report:
Advance estimates of U.S. retail and meals providers gross sales for June 2025, adjusted for seasonal variation and vacation and trading-day variations, however not for worth adjustments, have been $720.1 billion, up 0.6 % from the earlier month, and up 3.9 % from June 2024. … The April 2025 to Could 2025 % change was unrevised from down 0.9 % (±0.2 %).
