The Ministry of Railways has introduced a brand new weekly specific prepare between Tirupati and Chikkamagaluru. The date of the inaugural prepare can be introduced later.
Vivek Kumar Sinha, Joint Director (Teaching) of the Railway Board, issued an order on June 27, asserting the prepare. The prepare 17423/17424 will begin at Tirupati on Thursdays and at Chikkamagaluru on Fridays.

Kota Shrinivas Poojari, Lok Sabha member of Udupi-Chikkamagaluru, has expressed happiness over the announcement of the brand new prepare. On his social media platforms, the MP stated that to attach Chikkamagaluru and Tirupati through Bengaluru by prepare was one among his desires. His dream had been fulfilled with the assist of Minister of State for Railways V. Somanna and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
Initially, he stated, the prepare would function weekly and in future it could be operated thrice every week. “The specific prepare to Tirupati has been the long-pending dream of the folks of Chikkamagaluru. I want the folks of Chikkamagaluru make higher use of the power,” he added.
