Left-wing unbiased Catherine Connolly, who secured the backing of Eire’s left-leaning events together with Sinn Féin, has received the nation’s presidential election in a landslide victory in opposition to her centre-right rival. Connolly, 68, mentioned Saturday night at Dublin Fort that she would champion range and be a voice for peace and one which “builds on our coverage of neutrality.”
