The Indian Air Drive (IAF) carried out a high-intensity joint train with the UK’s Provider Strike Group (CSG) over the Indian Ocean Area on Tuesday (October 14, 2025).
The drill featured IAF Sukhoi-30 MKIs, Jaguars, AWACS, and AEW&C plane working alongside Royal Navy F-35B fighter jets from HMS Prince of Wales.
The train aimed to boost interoperability, mutual belief, and operational coordination between the 2 forces, reaffirming their shared dedication to regional safety and stability.
Indian Air Drive posted on X: On 14 Oct 25, IAF Sukhoi-30 MKIs, Jaguars, AWACS & AEW&C plane joined Royal Navy F-35Bs from HMS Prince of Wales for a joint train over the Indian Ocean Area. The coaching strengthened interoperability, mutual belief, and collective dedication to regional stability.
This air train adopted the profitable completion of the Sea Section of the bilateral maritime train KONKAN 25 between the Indian Navy and the Royal Navy on October 8. Throughout KONKAN 25, each navies executed a variety of advanced maritime operations, together with tactical air warfare, air defence, floor and anti-submarine warfare, and underway replenishment.
