An enormous fireplace broke out on Thursday night time at a Chevron jet gasoline manufacturing unit in California, one of many largest refineries on the U.S. west coast, following reviews of an explosion.
No accidents had been reported from the incident on the El Segundo plant, Chevron stated on Friday, with the U.S. vitality main’s fireplace division personnel and emergency providers “actively responding” to the scenario.
It was not instantly clear what triggered the blaze.
“All refinery personnel and contractors have been accounted for and there aren’t any accidents,” Chevron stated in a press release, in keeping with NBC.
“No evacuation orders for space residents have been put in place by emergency response businesses monitoring the incident, and no exceedances have been detected by the services fence line monitoring system,” the corporate added.
