The biggest wildfire France has seen in almost 80 years – ripping by forests, villages and vineyards within the southern Aude division – has been contained, however officers warn it would maintain burning for days. Among the many hardest-hit areas is the Corbières wine area, the place flames destroyed vineyards already weakened by years of drought and excessive climate.
