(ECNS) — The physique of a Chinese language white dolphin, a nationally first-class protected wild animal and endangered species, was discovered Sunday on a seashore in Tanbei Bayon Naozhou Island in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, in keeping with media reviews.
A preliminary police investigation revealed that the dolphin died within the sea as a result of a troublesome delivery earlier than being washed ashore by waves. The calf didn’t survive.
Video footage confirmed that the snout of the infant dolphin was caught within the genital slit of the grownup dolphin.
All stays have been handed over to the animal safety division.
