The RTA has introduced a collection of visitors diversions on main roads in Dubai.
Two-month diversions have been introduced at Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street, Emirates Street and the Dubai–Al Ain Street, with the Roads and Transport Authority advising different routes.
All three diversions are to permit for rainwater and groundwater drainage works on roads within the Emirate and can final for an anticipated two months. The RTA suggested motorists plan journeys upfront to make sure easy journey throughout this era.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street diversion
The RTA revealed a two-month diversion on the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Street and steered different routes.

In a separate assertion on social media, the RTA stated: “A visitors diversion might be applied at Mudon Underpass on Emirates Street for 2 months beginning June 28, 2025.
“The works embody rainwater and groundwater drainage system upgrades together with street resurfacing.
“Commuters can use the choice routes by way of Underpass 7 (U-turn in the direction of Jebel Ali) or from Hessa Avenue to Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Avenue (in the direction of Dubai)”.
Dubai–Al Ain Street diversion
The RTA revealed a two-month additional diversion and steered different routes.
On X, the RTA stated: “A brief visitors diversion might be applied at Umm Al Daman Underpass on Dubai–Al Ain Street beginning June 28, 2025, lasting two months.
