A forty five-year-old man has died after an incident involving law enforcement officials and residents in Barrio 20, a low-income neighbourhood within the south of the capital.
Authorities from the Buenos Aires Metropolis authorities stated an inner police inquiry and a judicial investigation into the dying have been opened.
The person, recognized by native media as Gabriel González, was taken to Hospital Piñero within the Flores district with a stab wound to the torso, in line with sources cited by Agencia Noticias Argentinas.
González later died on the hospital. A preliminary post-mortem is pending to ascertain the precise explanation for dying.
Barrio 20, also referred to as Villa 20, is situated in Villa Lugano, within the south of the capital. The incident occurred close to the intersection of Chilavert and Araujo streets, the place Metropolis Cops have been responding to stories of a confrontation.
