The Census Bureau and the Bureau of Financial Evaluation reported:

The U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Bureau of Financial Evaluation introduced immediately that
the products and companies deficit was $71.5 billion in Could, up $11.3 billion from $60.3 billion in April, revised.

Could exports have been $279.0 billion, $11.6 billion lower than April exports. Could imports have been $350.5 billion,
$0.3 billion lower than April imports.

Exports have been up 5.3% year-over-year; imports have been up 3.3% year-over-year.

Imports elevated sharply earlier this yr as importers rushed to beat tariffs.
