Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar has directed quarry and crusher unit house owners to acquire permission from the Division of Geology and Mines for storage and transportation of M-sand and gravel.
As per the Tamil Nadu Prevention of Unlawful Mining Transportation and Storage of Minerals and Mineral Sellers Guidelines, 2011, quarry and crusher models required applicable permission from the district administration for storing M-sand and gravel and likewise for transporting them.
Additional, because the transit cross system for transporting M-sand and gravel comes into impact from June 12, quarry and crusher models have been instructed to furnish the required particulars on www.mimas.tn.gov.in.
Following registration, a free transit cross can be issued which may very well be used for transporting M-sand and gravel supplies. For additional particulars, candidates can contact the Division of Geology and Mining workplace on the Collectorate premises.
