(ECNS) — Chinese language medical employee Zhang Liyan acquired the 2025 Princess Srinagarindra Award on Wednesday on the Grand Palace in Bangkok for her excellent contributions to nursing and midwifery.
Zhang stated that the glory was not solely a recognition of her private achievements however an encouragement to all who stay devoted to nursing and the humanitarian mission.
A former deputy director on the Chinese language Individuals’s Liberation Military (PLA) Common Hospital, Zhang is a recipient of the forty third Florence Nightingale Medal, and the primary feminine chief medical officer of the China Worldwide Search and Rescue.
She at present serves as chair of the China Nightingale Volunteer Nursing Service Corps.
Established in 2000 by the Thai royal household to commemorate the centenary of Princess Srinagarindra’s delivery, the award is introduced yearly to people who’ve made important contributions to the fields of nursing or medication.
