(ECNS) — China is increasing its visa-free coverage and simplifying entry procedures to draw extra international vacationers, International Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning stated Friday.
The brand new measures embody “one-stop” entry companies and a refund-upon-purchase mannequin to reinforce comfort and enhance inbound tourism, she stated at an everyday press briefing.
Mao was responding to media feedback that praised China’s open visa insurance policies for highlighting its wealthy tradition and fashionable, “cyberpunk” attraction, contrasting with different nations seen as rising extra restrictive.
She acknowledged that China has now expanded its unilateral visa-free coverage to a complete of 47 nations and 240-hour visa-free transit program to 55 nations.
“Decoupling, provide chain disruptions, and closeness and exclusion are usually not China’s decisions,” Mao stated. “China will proceed to take concrete actions to advertise high-level opening-up, work with all nations to share alternatives, and form a greater future.”
