The driving force of a personal bus died after a truck, allegedly pushed in a rash and negligent method, rammed the bus alongside the underpass beneath the Kundannoor flyover on Saturday (July 19, 2025) round 7.45 a.m.
The deceased was recognized as Tharoor Sivaprasad of Cherthala. There have been no passengers within the bus on the time of the accident. The truck was headed in direction of the junction on Maradu-Thevara street. The bus was travelling alongside the service street of Aroor-Vyttila NH 66.
Although Sivaprasad was rushed to a close-by hospital, he succumbed to accidents at 10.55 am. The Maradu police have registered a case towards the truck driver primarily based on the bus conductor’s assertion. The case was registered beneath the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Sections 281 (rash driving) and 106 (1) (inflicting loss of life by negligence).
