I hear that Bannon is pushing Heritage Chief Economist EJ Antoni for BLS Commissioner.

If he’s nominated, I’ll simply observe that he declared (with St. Onge) a recession beginning in 2022 [1]. And one other recession in beginning in July or August 2024 –[2], [3]– with out ever having declared the recession of 2022 ended. Taken actually, he believes now we have been — and stay even immediately — in recession.
