The US army commander within the Center East stated that American forces struck about 2,000 targets in Iran.
“We now have severely degraded Iran’s air defenses and destroyed tons of of Iran’s ballistic missiles, launchers and drones,” Admiral Brad Cooper of US Central Command stated.
“The primary 24 hours of this operation have been almost double the dimensions” of the primary day of shock-and-awe strikes on Iraq in 2003, “and we proceed with 24/7 strikes into Iran,” he added.
